Behind them, the houses are decorated with cobwebs, pumpkins, and bats flying beneath a glowing moon, setting the perfect Halloween scene for kids and families to enjoy.

Whether you want to bring out traditional orange-and-black tones or experiment with bright, playful colours, this colouring page is ideal for children and adults who love the excitement of Halloween night.

A Celebration of Costumes and Fun

Halloween is one of the most exciting times of the year for children. Dressing up as witches, monsters, and ghosts has been a tradition for centuries, and this colouring page captures that joy in a way that is fun and family-friendly.

Each costume has been carefully illustrated with bold outlines, making it easy for younger colourers to stay inside the lines while still offering plenty of creative opportunities for older kids and adults.

The witch, with her pointy hat and broomstick, is ready for a splash of purple or green. The vampire, complete with cape and bat emblem, looks fantastic in reds and blacks.

The ghost costume offers a perfect blank canvas for creative shading, while the pumpkin outfit is ideal for bold orange tones with green highlights. Together, these characters embody the spirit of Halloween night — cheerful, imaginative, and full of excitement.

Perfect for All Ages and Skill Levels

This Happy Halloween colouring page is designed to be approachable for children but detailed enough to keep older colourers entertained.

The wide open spaces of the costumes and sky make it easy for beginners, while the intricate background details — cobwebs on the houses, carved jack-o’-lanterns, and swirling clouds — provide a fun challenge for those who enjoy adding extra depth and shading.

Parents and teachers will find this colouring page an excellent seasonal activity for classrooms, after-school clubs, or at-home crafts. It’s a great way to keep kids engaged during October while also giving them something festive to display. Adults who enjoy colouring for relaxation will also love the mix of bold shapes and fine patterns.

Coloring Inspiration and Ideas

Need ideas before you start colouring? Here are a few fun approaches to try:

Traditional Halloween palette: Orange pumpkins, black bats, purple witch robes, and a yellow glowing moon.

Bright and playful: Neon greens, pinks, and blues for costumes to create a cheerful cartoon-like feel.

Night-time atmosphere: A dark sky with shining stars, glowing windows in the houses, and silvery cobwebs.

Creative costumes: Mix things up by designing each child’s outfit with unusual colours, like a rainbow witch or a ghost with pastel patterns.

The smiling moon at the top of the page is a wonderful detail that can be coloured in creamy whites, pale yellows, or even spooky greens. The bats flying nearby can be classic black or given a more whimsical colour scheme to match the fun tone of the picture.
