THE GRANDEST RACE IN CYCLING
The Tour de France is the world’s most famous cycling event, held every July since 1903. Over three weeks, riders cover more than 3,000 kilometres through a mix of terrains — from the steep climbs of the Alps to the fast flats of the French countryside.
This illustration focuses on the race’s emotional conclusion: the final stage that ends on the Champs-Élysées in Paris. The Eiffel Tower in the background sets the scene, while crowds of cheering fans line the route to welcome the riders who have conquered France’s toughest roads.
A CHALLENGE FOR CYCLING FANS AND ARTISTS ALIKE
The artwork is packed with fine details for colourists who enjoy dynamic, realistic scenes. You can shade the cyclist’s gear, the reflective bike frame, and the intricate components of the racing bike. Add depth to the background with the soft greys and golds of Parisian architecture or bring the scene to life with vibrant summer hues.
The drawing’s strong lines make it ideal for colouring with pencils, markers, or digitally on a tablet. The page balances clean outlines with realistic textures, allowing both beginners and advanced colourists to enjoy the process.

Every Tour de France fan knows that the race is about more than competition — it’s about endurance, teamwork, and national pride. This cycling coloring page captures that emotion in a single powerful image. It’s an excellent choice for anyone who loves sports illustration or wants to celebrate a legendary global event through art.
Whether you’re printing it for personal use or adding it to a sports-themed colouring book collection, this design makes a standout piece. It’s easy to print on A4 or US Letter paper, ready to colour whenever inspiration strikes.
